Poetry SLAM and Open Mic

 Our exciting "1st Wednesday" series continues with Open Mic, SLAM competition and guest poet Adam Falkner -- a New York City-based poet, performer, essayist, and public high school teacher. Falkner, the Founder and Executive Director of the Dialogue Arts Project, has performed at hundreds of US colleges and universities and many other venues, including the Bowery Poetry Club, the Nuyorican Poets Café, and the National Poetry Slam. To take part in the open mic or slam, please register at 6:30 pm. Slammers should bring one original poem of up to 3 minutes. Registration closes promptly at 7, and the program starts shortly thereafter. Co-hosted by local poet and slammaster Eric ZORK Alan. Refreshments are served and all are welcome! Questions?
