Ellen O’Connell, White Plains resident and retired English teacher, will moderate a discussion of the novel The Secret Chord, by Geraldine Brooks (2015). In this historical novel about the life of King David, the Pulitzer Prize winning author of People of the Book, March, and Horse offers, “a page-turner… Brooks is a master at bringing the past alive…” -Alice Hoffman, WAPO. This book is available in the Library’s physical collection and on Libby.
