We discuss a Historical American Girl book every other month with a correlated craft. This month's book is Josefina: Sunlight and Shadows.
Join us for our bi-monthly American Girl book club! Read about important parts of America's past through the eyes of a young girl. This month's book is Josefina: Sunlight and Shadows.
American Girl has recommended their historical character books for ages 8 and up, but we will leave it to guardian's discretion.
Kids and their grownup should read through the book and discussion questions ahead of time so we can have a fruitful discussion! Sign up at The Trove Desk starting January 18th to receive the discussion questions. First 5 registered also get their own personal copy of the book!
About Sunlight and Shadows:

Then, Josefina is grateful for a new idea that helps save their ranch after a devastating flood. But as Christmas approaches, Josefina is thinking a lot about the comfort of treasured traditions. Discover which traditions help make this Christmas really wonderful for Josefina.
