A beginner's guide to seed starting.
Growing your own transplants from seed has many advantages. Learn how to start in a small way for big results. This workshop will cover how to grow flowers and vegetables from seeds, while avoiding the $50 tomato. And we'll discuss the household items you can use to start seeds sustainably and inexpensively.
This workshop is presented by Gilda Forseter, a Master Gardener with the Cornell Cooperative Extension as part of our fall gardening series. These presentations are funded by the Youth Climate Action Fund grant awarded to the Edge Advisory Board's Seed Library project, which is supported by the Bloomberg Action Fund, the City of White Plains, and the White Plains Library Foundation.
