Begin searching your family history with genealogist, author and teacher Dennis Richmond, Jr.

Join educator and genealogist Dennis Richmond, Jr. for an engaging workshop titled “Getting Started with Genealogy” at the White Plains Public Library.

This presentation will introduce participants to the basics of family history research, including how to use Ancestry.com, FamilySearch, and physical records to trace your ancestors. Participants will also view real historical documents from Dennis and learn practical tips for building a family tree from the soil up. Laptops will be available so attendees can begin exploring their own family history during the session.
