AuditoriumThis forum gives community members a chance to engage directly with public officials on matters of significance to our community. Learn how public officials work to protect and advance your rights.
The discussion will focus on topics including the functions and responsibilities of our local and county government, its role in advancing housing and civil rights, the protection of voting access, public safety considerations related to immigration enforcement, and the ways in which the budget process is addressing our community needs.
This program is presented in partnership with NAACP-White Plains/Greenburgh Branch, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Pi Iota Omega Chapter, White Plains Public Library, African American Advisory Board of Westchester County and the Women’s Leadership Institute.
