Join librarians Susan and Julia Rae for an afternoon tea party and discussion of the acclaimed novel Wuthering Heights.
The recent movie adaptation of Emily Brontë’s novel Wuthering Heights has brought renewed interest to the enduring classic. Her gothic story of thwarted love and the resulting vengeance wreaked over two generations continues to enthrall readers. Brontë passed away at age 30, leaving Wuthering Heights as her only novel. Please join us in “Rotary Room Heights” for tea, discussion, and to celebrate this masterwork. Many people have used this novel as a creative springboard, and toward the end of our time we will do a little informal creating also. Registration is required.
