Genealogical thinking will teach you how to make your quest for records logical and productive.

Genealogical thinking makes your approach to searching for an ancestor’s records into a logical and more productive endeavor.  This two-step process starts by deciding what kinds of records could exist for a person living in a specific place at a specific period in time and then identifying where those records might be found.  

The program is intended for those who have already started genealogy research and have found themselves stuck as to where to go next in finding records.

The teacher is genealogist Alan Steinfeld, who has presented family history programs at the library for many years.
