Join Master Gardener Elaine Garry to learn about composting at home.
Whether you live in an apartment or on 20 acres, you can make useful compost for soil amendment or as a growing medium while removing food scraps and other organic materials from the waste stream. Learn about composting in the context of climate change and how individuals can make a difference.
This workshop is presented by Elaine Garry, a Master Gardener with the Cornell Cooperative Extension, as part of our fall gardening series. These presentations are funded by the Youth Climate Action Fund grant awarded to the Edge Advisory Board's Seed Library project, which is supported by the Bloomberg Action Fund, the City of White Plains, and the White Plains Library Foundation.
