Earth, Wind, Fire and Zombies!

Learn survival skills! This series is for teens in grades 7-12 (as of fall 2026.) Registration is required; participants must attend all four days of the series. 

Survive the zombie apocalypse with Zach Jones of Our Elements Outdoor Learning, a nature-based outdoor education organization rooted in the Hudson Valley. Each day will focus on a different survival skill set, contextualized within a zombie apocalypse scenario to drive engagement and creative thinking. These skills include sourcing and purifying water, starting a fire (safely!) using primitive and traditional methods, basic first aid concepts, and more.
